About hazem tabbaa

After growing up and attending high school in Amman, Jordan, I moved to San Diego in 2015 to pursue a university degree at the University of California, San Diego.

I completed my studies in Mathematics-Computer Science, and added a minor degree in Philosophy. After graduating, I moved to New York, where I now work as a software developer.

I have been writing both fictional and non-fictional pieces as a hobby since my early school days, and published my first work on Odyssey when I moved to San Diego. It consisted of a series of short philosophical articles inspired by my experiences and studies.

In 2018, I published my first book, a novella, titled A Place for Peace. I also enjoy writing short stories and am working on a collection while writing my next novel.

My second novel was published in April, 2019, titled “Four Steps Behind”. The novel is loosely based on my grandmother’s life, chronicling her move from post-war Germany to Amman.
